It's Been A While

Things are crazy as always. Since moving in Brock and I have both had the flu AND Brock and I had both had a cold. Blake and I have a bad case of dry skin thanks to the lack of a water softner. We finally got a free trial with a company so that is helping for now. After the trial we will put in the softner Jeff bought at Lowes (if we chose to go with the company then we will sell the softner on ksl or something).

We are almost moved in. We have to finish clearing out the garage, set up our phone, put up drapes and pictures, and figure out Brock's bed situation. We seemed to have lost two very large and very important parts of Brock's bed. We have pretty much decided on a bunk bed, but finding one in our price point is a bit harder. We figure with the new baby... yes a new baby already ( I'm 9 weeks, constantly sick, and due Jeff's birthday, July 23 )... that we would probably put Blake and Brock together eventually- or if it is a boy- Blake and baby together eventually. The bunk bed just seems like a good idea as an investment.

We have a nice ward and a nice woman who lives across the street who has brought over cookies twice-they were really yummy. Brock seems to be dealing with the new school well. Today in recess he was helping the other boys chase the girls off their side, because their side was bigger.

Well I think that is all for now. Take Care

The Move to Santaquin

Disney Fun

Well...

Disneyland was absolutly wonderful! The weather was wonderful, there werent any lines at all, and overall it was a very nice trip. I will post all the pictures and more details soon- but I have to get Brock ready for Idaho and prepare for Thanksgiving.

We are officially going to close on December 3rd and will be able to get the keys on the 5th!!! As exciting as that sounds- I am suddenly filled with PANIC. I have one week to pack up our basement for the move. We are looking for a couple of volenteers to go down to Santaquin on the 6th to help us unload our UHAUL. So if anyone is interested in recieving some blessings through service- feel free to drop me a line.

On a more random note- I have noticed that Blake has broken a molar. SO that makes 4 front teeth and a molar on top, and 2 lonely teeth on bottom.

A House Update

AHHH. Ivory needs to learn not to mess with a Larsen girl when she is emotional! So first we noticed that they have the wrong garage door-taupe not Brown- and that it doesnt have its key pad installed, then that the gutter down spout looks like they pieced it together with scraps, now that the hall bathroom fixture is broken, they put the outlet on the kitchen island on the wrong side and so now it is visable from the familyroom and looks way out of place (note above picture)and we are worried about the lack of GFI recepticals in the bathroom and kitchen (Hey I have a husband that quoted electrical plans and knows the code). They promised to fix the garage door, we are fighting over the down spout, and we want answers on the fixture. We dont know if it is just the glass or the whole fixture that isnt working. Jeff can order another fixture for like 60 dollars- we just hope they still have it in stock. Terra said that she couldnt believe it was going so smoothly in the beginning and I know she is right. They just better get this fixed or they will hear it.

On a better note: The kitchen cabnits are in and beautiful as well as the fixtures we installed everywhere besides the broken one.

3 Years

Three years ago today I began the wild ride that is my life. Three year seems hardly long enough to have ended one life and begin and live another- and I am not just talking about me-but Grace and Blake. If it werent for this cingular event-this one day- my life would not be where it is today, a wonderful husband and two beautiful boys, living in Utah with in-laws I can actually stand to be around. I lost something that day, a Girl, but somehow she was able to give me an amazing gift- a new life and hope for my future.
