Moving to Santaquin

Well it seems we will be moving down to Utah County after all. After a horrific week of losing a job in quotes- then gaining another job as the PA with the same company only now in Orem- we have decided to move to Santaquin. With $7,000 tied up with Ivory Homes, we have very few options on where to live. The idea of Santaquin is growing on me. The middle of no-where is a bit daunting, but the idea of living so close to Provo without dealing with the massive population sounds good to me. We will be getting a much bigger lot-almost .24 acre and Jeff's commute will be 25 minutes as opposed to the 50 minutes it was before. With next years profit sharing up in the air- we are just hoping for the best- that we wont be too financial strapped once we move in.

The kids are doing great. Blake doesn't want to crawl in any form, but is enjoying Grandpa John and Grandma Sandy's company. Brock is in Cali with his "Old Daddy" and now wont be home til Saturday-don't ask it is a ridiculous story-I miss him tons and hope that he makes it the entire time without getting homesick.

Our New Home

So we are officially doing this. We have given the builder our down payment and they are set to start building July 1st!! We are crazy thinking we can do this-but we are young- we are jumping in anyway. We have someone who is suppose to bring an offer on our house on Friday.... hope that goes well... we will see if my intuition is correct. We wont be making a dime on our house-we will probably end up breaking even with what we would have had if we rented for the last 20 months- at least we have had a house to call home during that time and a wonderful neighborhood.

Selling the House and Twilight

AHHHH. So my life has been consumed with trying to sell our house. It has been driving me to the brink of destruction... so... I decided to start reading the Twilight Series. Some of you know that I am not allowed to read novels anymore.... aparently it isnt good to ignore the housework, children, friends and the rest of everyday life while you drift off in a good read. Well, Brock was gone in Idaho, it was the weekend, and I was totally sick and tired of worrying about the house selling-especially when I have to give the entire down payment to the builder this Friday. I was able to manage finishing the three books in four days--- slow I know-so now I am officially part of the Edward fan club (Jeff knew it would happen- his sisters are fans as well). I guess I am a bit late as most people have already read it. Erin and I finished the same time- and will now drive everyone crazy as we talk of nothing but Edward, Bella, and Jake for the next week or so. Well there you go. Well Brock is back from Idaho, and my real life must go on....
